Meet Bjorn
My name is Bjorn. I am a King County Native, originating from Auburn, WA. I am a typical Pacific Northwestern-er. My spare time is usually spent kayaking, hiking, playing music, and enjoying coffee. It makes me very glad that I now have the opportunity to give back to the community in an area that I love.
There have been many moments in my life that I know I would not have been able to successfully navigate, without the guidance of others. Ultimately, that is what led me into a helping profession, to assist people in a way that others were able to do for me. I have learned to do this through years of education, and experience as a licensed clinical social worker, and therapist. My background includes a broad variety from crisis work, to one on one office visits. I have worked with all ages, and have many years of experience with both children, and adults. My specialty involves treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other presenting problems with a combination of mindfulness and acceptance strategies, behavior change, and positive reframing. I am excited to pass on the information I have learned, in the hopes that it can provide healing for someone else.
